Christian Faith Center (CFC) is a fellowship unique in its ministry, as it was founded and motivated by prayer. The people who are part of this church are unusually friendly and desire to reach out to others with what Christ offers to all mankind. Salvation, fullness of the Spirit, healing, wholeness, peace and joy are a few of the benefits of knowing and serving Christ. CFC is made up of people with various backgrounds and needs. It is a growing congregation where relationships matter. The Word of God is the basis for living and the foundation for all we do. The Bible is the authority on which CFC stands. We just believe it! Everyone struggles with faith, life’s problems, and personal needs, but we at CFC are endeavoring to honor the Lord.
Encounter Jesus the way millions of people in the most remote villages around the world do each year. JESUS, a feature-length film by the Jesus Film Project, will be presented by Christian Faith Center on Friday, November 18, at 7pm. This WILL NOT be shown at church but at 407 Foxtail Ave, MIddleburg, FL 32068. The public is invited; light refreshments will be served.
"This will be an outdoor viewing," says Christian Faith Center Pastor Mark Sellers. "We want people to experience this movie the same way those in a tiny village half a world away might if missionaries brought it to them." Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket to sit on and a jacket to keep warm if the evening is cool.
"JESUS," a film created by The Jesus Film Project, began its run 37 years ago as a way of introducing Jesus to people around the world who may never know Him otherwise. The Project's goal is to, "...help people experience Jesus in their own language using media tools and momentum-building strategies," according to The Jesus Film Project website.
Technology has allowed the film to reach people in ways unimaginable when it was introduced in 1979. By 2001, the movie had been shown in every country around the globe; by 2002, viewings had reached five billion.
"JESUS" has been recognized by The Guinness Book of World Records as the "Most Translated Film" in history, according to the Project website. It is available in 1,071 languages. Audio/radio translations are available in 423 languages and The Story of Jesus for Children in 135 languages. In addition, The Jesus Film Project has created more than 30 short and feature length films.
"This is our way of bringing the mission field to life for people right here in Middleburg and Orange Park," says Wendell Shaw, Mission Team Director for CFC. "Missionaries are all over the world, showing this film just like we will, but to people who have never even heard of Jesus."
Mark Sellers is a life long resident of Clay County, Florida. He graduated from Orange Park High School and was a Painting Contractor for over 25 Years. Mark was ordained and called into ministry in 1988. He has earned a Doctorate of Ministry from North Florida Theological Seminary. He co-pastored Christian Faith Center since 2000, and became senior pastor in February, 2013.
His desire is to see people come into a personal relationship with a personal God through His Son Jesus Christ. Mark believes that discipleship through fellowship is the key for Christian growth.
Kidtriciy Ministry exists to save, equip and send out young soul winners for Jesus Christ. We do this by providing a secure, nurturing environment for children where biblical truths are taught as a foundation for salvation. It is a place for your child to learn and grow in thier relationship with Jesus Christ. Sunday Kidtricity service is available for all CFC Kids, ages 6 - 12. We will enjoy a short worship time with energetic music, a bible lesson, craft, snack, and more! Safety is very important to us, therefore, children must be dropped off and picked up by their parents. A number tag will be assigned to you & you will have to return with the tag to pick up your child. Please be sure to pick up your child no later than 15 minutes after Sunday service has ended. We love the opportunity we are given to pour into the lives of your children each week and look forward to all that God has in store for you and your family. If you have any questions or would like have your child be involved in this explosive ministry, please ask for Dee Gardner. Volunteers are always needed and welcome. If you are interested, see Dee.
We welcome all children, ages 5 and under, to join our Sunlight Kids class. At this age, our goal is to serve parents so they can participate in the worship service with peace of mind. We use the "Sunlight Kids" curriculum from Gospel Publishing House. Sunlight Kids, developed by early childhood experts, teaches Bible truths using a proven approach to help our young children understand. Children are cared for by dedicated volunteers in a safe environment. Please be sure to bring any diaper bags, sippy cups, and snacks that the caregivers will need. We also understand that walkers need a little more room to roam and new things to discover. We have a large room that includes playtime, coloring pages, and snack time.

Christian Faith Center is a Great Comission Chuch. Jesus said in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person." We believe it is the mandate of the New Testament Church; not only to proclaim God's word in our geographical area, but also to the "uttermost parts of the world." Christian Faith Center puts a strong emphasis on missions. We currently support 20 missionaries on a monthly basis, as well as various projects from time to time. We have what we call a Mission's Action Team, who meet the first Sunday of every month to pray for our missionaries as well as discuss any needs that may arise. We also plan at least 1 short-term missions trip each year for any members of our church who would desire to know more about missions first hand. We often have our missionaries come and share at one of our services. If you would like to know more about missions, come visit us!
When you choose to give an offering, you may specify your intentions for the donation in your notes. Giving is an expression of our love for God and our devotion to the House of God. We are a recognized 501(c)(3) organization that voluntarily participates in an annual independent audit. The church reserves the right to utilize designated donations where needed. Each year we provide you with a record of your tax deductible contributions in a convenient statement from your household giving records. In a desire to be good stewards, maximize the resources God has entrusted to us and streamline our accounting needs, please be sure to include your name & address with every gift.
Tithes and Offering: The Bible teaches us that the tithe is an act of worship to the Lord, which is ten percent of our income given to our home church on a regular basis. When we give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.
Faith Promise (Mission Fund): These funds will go toward supporting our career missionaries all over the world.
Short-term Mission Trips: When giving, you may specify which trip you would like your funds to support and which individual you are supporting.
Benevolence: These funds will be used to help those of the Church and surrounding community in need financially, as well as offer help to our food pantry.
Building Projects: The church will have on-going projects that will need additional funding not set forth by the operating budget.
